What this is

Haulside is software for junk removal operators. An operator uses it to price a job from photos, send the customer a quote, and take a deposit. We are not a junk removal company, we do not haul anything, and we are not a party to the job.

If you are a customer

The quote you were sent is from the hauler named on it, not from us. They set the price, they do the work, and they are who you talk to about the job, the schedule, or a refund. Their deposit and refund policy is on the quote you received.

Your deposit is charged by the hauler's own payment account. It appears on your statement under their business name because it is their charge.

If you are an operator

You are responsible for your prices, your quotes, your work, and your refunds. You set your own rate card and you review every estimate before it is sent -- nothing goes to a customer that you have not seen.

The volume estimates are a tool, not a guarantee. They are produced from photographs and they will sometimes be wrong. You are the one who decides what to charge, which is why the estimate never contains a price.

You need the customer's permission before we text them. The app asks you to confirm the customer asked you for a quote, and it will not send until you do.

Paying us

Plans and prices are on your billing screen. A monthly plan renews until you cancel. Per-quote billing charges when you send a quote, once per quote, however many times you resend it. Cancel any time; quotes you have already sent keep working.

Ending it

You can delete your account from your settings, which removes your photos, leads, estimates, and quotes. We can close an account that is being used to text people who did not ask to be texted.

The boring but honest part

The software is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available at every moment or that an estimate will be accurate. If we get something badly wrong and it costs you money, our liability is capped at what you have paid us in the last three months -- which for most operators is not very much, so read the estimate before you send it.
