Photos
Photos are the sensitive part, so they get the strict treatment. Location data is stripped out of every photo before it is stored. They are stored privately -- there is no public URL for a photo, and the app hands out signed links that expire in minutes.
Photos are deleted 90 days after the job closes, unless the operator marked that job as one to keep. Deleting an account deletes its photos immediately.
Photos sent to the free estimator belong to no job, so they have their own rule: deleted after 30 days. What is kept after that is the estimate itself -- the list of items and their sizes -- with no photographs.
What we hold about a customer
Whatever the operator entered: a name, sometimes a mobile number, sometimes an address, and the photos of the job. Plus the quote itself and whether a deposit was paid. That is all.
What we hold about an operator
A mobile number, a name, a business name, a truck size, a rate card, and the jobs quoted. Card details are never on our servers -- payments go through Stripe, and we hold Stripe's reference to an account, not an account number.
Who else sees it
Four companies, each doing one job: Stripe takes payments, Telnyx sends the texts, Anthropic runs the model that reads the photos, and a storage provider holds the photos themselves. Photos are sent to Anthropic to produce the estimate and are not used to train models.
We do not sell anything to anybody, and there is no advertising or analytics tracker on any page in this app.
What we keep after deletion
Counts. How many quotes were sent, how many deposits were paid, how long a quote took to go out. No names, no phone numbers, no addresses, no photos -- we keep the totals because they are how we tell whether this product works, and they identify nobody.
Asking us to delete something
Operators can delete an account from their settings. Customers should ask the hauler who sent the quote -- the data is theirs, in their account, and they can delete a job. If that goes nowhere, reply to any text we sent you and we will handle it.
